Academy Hosts Inaugural Jack Madison Cup

Our boys tennis program started a new tradition on April 18 by hosting Bexley for the inaugural Jack Madison Cup, named in memory of a 2021 Columbus Academy graduate from Bexley who passed away in January of 2023. Jack helped our Vikings place third in the OTCA state tournament as a senior and was a true leader on the court, earning four varsity letters and serving as a co-captain with his cousin and classmate Arie Tuckerman. Teachers from across the state of Ohio are invited to join Columbus Academy for a thought-provoking summer institute on June 24-27, 2024, where they will receive 30 hours of instruction from experienced AP educators on our 231-acre campus.

AquaVikes Win First Swimming State Title Since 2018

Our swimming and diving program completed a banner season at the OHSAA state meet last weekend. With 125 points, the Academy boys placed third overall in Division II rankings. The 200 freestyle relay squad of Andy L., William D., Mircea B. and William H. claimed the school’s first swimming state title since 2018 by winning with a time of 1:27.01, which was half a second better than second-place University School.
