2026-27 Bus Transportation Information

*For all district-provided bus transportation: please register as soon as possible to avoid Columbus Academy losing access to stops. Early registration helps our partner districts create the most effective routes for our students.

District-Provided Bus Information

There are several public school districts in the Columbus area that provide transportation free of charge for Academy students and those routes are listed below. Each school district handles its transportation services differently, so please contact our admissions office if you don't see your home district listed below. Families need to register with their local school districts in order to request bus transportation and route information. In addition, please monitor local school district information for school closings when buses may not run.

V.A.T. Contracted Bus Information

Columbus Academy will once again be partnering with V.A.T. to provide transportation services for areas not fully served by local school districts including Olentangy/Powell, West Bexley, Victorian Village and Arlington. Please note that there is a fee for the routes offered through V.A.T. For the 2026-27 school year, we are using Blackbaud for V.A.T. registration. Families who have previously utilized V.A.T. transportation services should log in to Blackbaud and look for the yellow banner to complete the 2026-27 online registration form. Families interested in registering for V.A.T. transportation for the first time should contact Jen Neviaser in the Admissions Office at neviaserj@columbusacademy.org or 614-509-2220 to have the registration form added to their Blackbaud account.

Please note: It is State of Ohio law that all student bus riders must be in at least kindergarten. Bus stops are also subject to change each school year, so be sure to contact your local school district for the most up-to-date information.
