Biography
Matt Carter ’00 began teaching middle school social studies at Columbus Academy in 2005 and moved into our upper school to teach freshman-level history at the start of the 2023-24 school year. He also is the head middle school football coach and ski club advisor. He earned a B.A. in history from the University of Miami where he was a member of the Hurricanes' football team. Matt and his wife Vanessa ’02, both graduates of Columbus Academy, have a daughter, Sophia.
