All Day 4 CA FAQ's
  • What giving options will be available online during All Day 4 CA?

    During the 25-hour All Day 4 CA event, online donations can be made via credit card, bank transfer, ApplePay, PayPal, Venmo and GooglePay.

  • Can I give by other means?

    Yes. If you prefer to give offline by check, securities, donor advised fund (DAF), or retirement distribution (QCD), please send your gift early (see the FAQ below).

  • Can I give early?

    Yes! Annual Fund gifts received by the Development Office between March 1 and April 22 can be included with All Day 4 CA. Give early online at columbusacademy.org/AllDay4CA, mail your check to the school Attn: All Day 4 CA, or contact developmentoffice@columbusacademy.org to notify us that your gift is coming by other means. Our team will display your participation as part of All Day 4 CA in the total donor count, dollars raised, and on the class leaderboard (unless you indicate that you prefer to be anonymous). Your gift will earn all available matches that are live at the time that your gift is added to the All Day 4 CA site.

  • What are All Day 4 CA gifts used for?

    All Day 4 CA gifts are for the Annual Fund, which impacts every student, every day. Donations support immediate operating needs and provide flexibility for emerging priorities. Gifts are used for instructional tools, co-curricular programs, faculty professional development, innovation, technology, maintenance of our 231-acre campus, and tuition assistance for 1 in 4 students. You may leave your gift unrestricted or direct it to one (or more!) of the following areas of impact: Arts, Athletics, Curricular Innovation, Faculty, Tuition Assistance.

  • What if I've already participated in this year's Annual Fund?

    Thank you! If you are inspired to make an additional contribution during All Day 4 CA, your participation will bring us closer to our 1,000+ Vikings goal, contribute to the “all in” spirit of this special day, and be matched!   

  • How does the match work?

    When you make your gift during the 25-hour online event, your donation will automatically earn all matches available at that time—amplifying your impact immediately! Matching funds are available thanks to alumni and school families who have generously increased their support and want to inspire others to join in.

  • Can I offer a matching gift or challenge?

    Yes! Matching gifts and challenges are a great incentive to encourage members of your class/grade to join in. Matching gifts can be small or large—there are many options. It’s most helpful if you set up your match with the Development Office before All Day 4 CA launches.  Contact us at developmentoffice@columbusacademy.org to get started.

  • How will my name and gift be displayed?

    Your name will appear as a participant, but your individual donation amount will not be displayed. If you do not want your name displayed, check the “do not display my name” box when you make your donation. Remember to select all of the CA affiliations that apply for you/your family (e.g. alumnus, parent, faculty/staff, grandparent) and add all applicable class years to appear on the class leaderboard. If you are a parent or grandparent of multiple CA students/graduates, use the “+” button to add additional class years.
