Athletic Performance Coach Shelby Reichle has been named the 2026 State Coach of the Year by the National High School Strength Coaches Association (NHSSCA)!
Shelby, who works on fitness and training with all of our athletic programs at Columbus Academy, was one of four coaches honored in the Great Lakes Region and is just the second pick from Central Ohio in the last eight years.
This award recognizes outstanding leadership, dedication and impact in the development of student-athletes and the strength and conditioning profession.
“Shelby is phenomenal and brings infectious energy to all of our students-athletes,” states Director of Athletics Jason Singleton. “She has played a pivotal role in shaping the culture of athletics at Columbus Academy, and I’m so grateful to have her on our staff.”
