Biography

Taylor Dillon began serving counselor in the Upper School at Columbus Academy at the start of the 2022-23 school year. She came to Academy after spending six years as a clinical outreach social worker at Directions for Youth and Families where she provided individual and group counseling services to adolescents and families. Her experience also includes utilizing trauma-informed care and other therapeutic strategies such as ARC, motivational interviewing, solution focused theory and internal family systems theory. Taylor is a certified licensed independent social worker and has a B.A. in sociology and criminology from John Carroll University and master's degree in social work from The Ohio State University. Taylor and her husband Patrick have two sons, Cameron and Charlie, and the family has three cats Ruby, Jenny and Tabitha.

"I love to host game nights at my house with friends and family, I'm a self proclaimed crazy cat lady, and enjoy relaxing by a pool or beach in the summer time."
