Sumona Ghosh Lester '99

Sumona Ghosh Lester ’99, Ph.D., started teaching upper school science at Columbus Academy in 2016 and began serving as science department chair in the fall 2020. She previously served as professor and adjunct professor in the sciences at Bryant and Stratton Nursing College. Sumona has a B.S. in biology from The Ohio State University, as well as a M.S. and a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences from the University of Toledo. Sumona and her husband, Dr. Jesse Lester, have two children: Leena ’32 and Kiran ’34.
