Danielle Hall joined the Columbus Academy faculty in July 2026 as a Strings Teacher. A distinguished cellist and musicologist, Danielle brings a rich mix of performance, administrative experience and ensemble coaching to the school’s music program. She has performed as a cellist with the New Albany Symphony Orchestra and coached young musicians at the Chamber Music Connection since 2022. Prior to joining Academy, Danielle served as a Music History Graduate Assistant for two years at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and worked as a Development Coordination Intern with the Columbus Symphony.
Danielle earned a B.M. in cello performance with a minor in English from Baldwin Wallace University's Conservatory of Music, graduating summa cum laude, before completing her M.M. in cello performance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. A highly decorated scholar and musician, she won the 2023–2024 Lauria Concerto Competition as an undergraduate and is a member of the Dayton C. Miller Honor Society, the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society and the Mu Phi Epsilon professional music fraternity.
In her role at Academy, Danielle works with student string musicians across campus, drawing on her deep classical training and passion for mentorship to cultivate both technical skill and artistic expression.
