Kayla Gholson

Kayla Gholson began teaching second grade at Columbus Academy at the start of the 2026-27 school year. She came to Academy from the Lamplighter School in Dallas, where she was a second grade literacy teacher from 2023-26. Prior to that role in Texas, Kayla was a lead lower school teacher at the Hawken School in northeast Ohio from 2018-23. She holds a B.A. from Miami University and M.A. in Early Childhood Education from John Carroll University.
