CAPSA Committees

A committee lead will follow up with more details as opportunities arise. We’re grateful for your time and involvement—CAPSA thrives because of volunteers like you!
Cultural Committee: Led by Academy parents Sheetal Raval and Priya Andrews, this committee focuses on cultural celebrations such as Holi and Diwali, and provides support to Desi Club and Desi Club Jr., as needed.
School Support Committee: Led by Academy parents Tanisha Mathur and Jimisha Doshi, this committee supports a variety of school-related and service-oriented activities, including but not limited to the schoolwide Kids 4 Kids Clothing Drive, Charlie David Dinner, volunteering at the Viking Corner (school spiritwear store), admissions events for new families, supporting Desi Club events in the Middle & Upper School, schoolwide service initiatives and assisting with All Day 4 CA, as needed.

Everyone in the Columbus Academy community is welcome to attend the CAPSA Family Holi Event on Sunday, April 19th! This gathering will include the always-popular color throw, delicious food, frozen treats, Bollywood music and more! Please wear white or light colors that you don’t mind getting powdered colors on! Glasses/goggles are also a good idea. Please bring a picnic blanket or lawn chairs to sit on as well. RSVP via the link above by April 10th!
