Suzanne Lucas joined the Development Office at Columbus Academy in January of 2022 and currently serves as Academy's events and special projects associate. She brings years of experience coordinating events and meetings for nonprofits, including Twig 2 and the Franklin Park Conservatory Women's Board, having served as both President and two-term Secretary for the later. Organizing and coordinating volunteer groups is also one of her strengths. Suzanne is one of the three co-founders of the New Albany Farmers Market (named 'Community Event of the Year' in 2011) and the founder of the New Albany Community Garden. She earned both her B.A. and B.S. in Botany from Miami University and her M.S. in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Michigan State University. Together with her husband, Jon '92, they have two sons: Robbie '24 and Owen '27.
