Biography

Keith Scowden began serving as the Lower School Dean of Student Life at the start of the 2026-27 school year, this after teaching eighth grade social studies since 2023. He started teaching on campus in 2020 and throughout his career has been a fifth grade associate and long-term substitute. Keith previously worked with our Summer Experience Program, was a substitute teacher in local public schools, as well as in our lower and middle school, and worked as a lead teacher with CASE, our after-school program. Keith holds a B.S. in middle childhood education from Kent State University.
