Nick Geis

Nick Geis joined the Columbus Academy faculty in July 2026 as an Upper School Mathematics Teacher. He comes to Academy with eight years of higher education teaching and research experience, having spent the previous two years as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Ohio Wesleyan University. Prior to his time at OWU, Nick served for six years as a Graduate Teaching and Research Associate at The Ohio State University.

Nick holds a B.S. in mathematics from the College of Creative Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Ph.D. in mathematics from The Ohio State University.
