Columbus Academy is celebrating its Class of 2020 with several special projects this spring.

Final Bell Car Parade

On their final day of classes at Columbus Academy on May 1, seniors were invited to drive through campus to hear the bell chimes signaling the end of the school day. Each member of our Class of 2020 received a gift bag and was greeted by their teachers and coaches who were spaced out along the route. It proved to be a unique event that exceeded all expectations for the amount of joy and much-needed bonding created for our community in this period of social distancing.

Matriculation List

Our 98-member senior class will matriculate to 63 colleges and universities in 27 different states, plus Canada, Germany and United Kingdom. To view the matriculation map compiled by our college counselors, click here.

Senior Spotlights

Each day through the end of May, a pair of seniors will be recognized and celebrated across the school’s social media channels to help highlight and recognize their individual Academy experiences. Images for each Senior Spotlight photo gallery were collected with the help of campus photographer Cindy Wilson – who graciously combed through photos from the seniors’ earliest years to now – and our seniors, who took the time to answer questions about their journey at CA.

Messages & Memories from Faculty & Staff

Also, the school’s college counselors requested videos and congratulatory photos from the faculty and staff that are being shared on Twitter and also archived here.
