Biography

Maggie Koerner began working as the Chief Financial Officer at Columbus Academy in 1993. She also enjoys volunteering at various events throughout the academic year such as CA Community Day and supporting the arts and athletic teams on campus. Maggie also serves as secretary and treasurer of the Midwest Business Managers Group, an organization comprised of CFOs from large independent schools across the Midwest region. Prior to joining Academy, Maggie was the assistant treasurer for four years with Worthington City Schools. She also previously worked as an accountant for the City of Columbus Auditors Office and as a corporate banking representative with National City Bank. She holds a B.A. and M.B.A. in finance from The Ohio State University, and is also CPA certified. Maggie and her husband, Jim, have two sons who graduated from Academy: Jimmy ’11, who works for a large software company in Chicago, and Gavin ’14, who works as a systems engineer in Cambridge, Ohio.
