Juliana Buonaiuto began her role as the communications and marketing manager at Columbus Academy in May 2026. Her main roles include managing our social media channels, designing school publications, assisting with projects for various departments, as well as photography and video work. She came to Academy from local real estate developer Crawford Hoying, where she managed and executed social media strategy for Bridge Park, the North Market at Bridge Park and several other popular locations around the state. Juliana also gained experience in branding and promotional efforts for the local software company TecAssured and as an intern in marketing/public relations at Kent State University, her alma mater. While serving as student body president at Kent State – where she was a marketing major with a minor in design – Juliana managed a $1M annual budget and advocated for the diverse concerns of over 20,000 fellow students. Upon graduation, Juliana received two prestigious honors including the Kent State Impact Award for service and civic engagement on campus and in the community, and the Arden L. Allyn Cup for leadership by the Ambassador Crawford College of Business & Entrepreneurship. Juliana has a sweet two-year old pomeranian-sheltie mix named Evie, who also has two best friends in her parents' dachshunds, Bean and Frankie.
