Biography

JoAnne Adams joined the Columbus Academy faculty in 1994 and is the Physical Education Department Chair and a PE teacher in our Lower School. In addition to establishing the Third Grade Little Dribblers two decades ago and serving as the school's first Wexner Chair in Elementary Education, she also coaches middle school field hockey and girls lacrosse. JoAnne previously taught PreK at the Northwest Christian Childcare Center and holds a B.S. in health and human services from Ohio University. JoAnne and her husband Tim have a daughter Charlotte ’21, and the family has two boxer dogs Lily and Champ (named after the 2018 CA field hockey state championship team).
