Gabrielle Douglas began teaching at Columbus Academy in 2024 and moved into her current role as a part-time associate teacher for pre-kindergarten at the start of the 2026-27 school year. She came to Academy after a year of teaching at Old Post Road Elementary School in Abingdon, Maryland, where she was a first grade teacher. She also taught for two years at La Devesa School in Carlet, Spain. She holds a B.A. in elementary education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Gabrielle married her husband Stephan during the summer of 2024.
