John Exline '64 Retirement Celebration

Join us for the John Exline '64 Retirement Celebration as we honor him as our longest-serving faculty member and for his combined 62 years as a student, coach and teacher at Columbus Academy!

Thanks to an anonymous gift in honor of John Exline '64, registration costs for this celebration have been waived. Registration for this event is still required for all attendees.

Event Details

• Adults-only event (starting with the Class of 2025 and older)
• Wear Academy spiritwear with soft-soled sneakers to protect the fieldhouse floor (no heels or hard-soled shoes will be permitted)
• Upscale tailgate-themed dinner
• Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages

Registration

Due to the high demand of attendees and venue capacity for this event, we are now only taking registrations for a WAIT LIST.

When spaces open due to cancellations we will move guests from the wait list to the official registration list and notify each guest of this change. Should your plans change and you're no longer able to attend, kindly let us know as soon as possible by emailing ExlineRetirement@columbusacademy.org, so that we keep can remove you from the wait list and are best able to accommodate those who wish to attend. 

General Admission Registration (for all guests) includes:

• Upscale tailgate-themed dinner with unlimited non-alcoholic drinks
• Two alcohol drink tickets (must be 21 & older and show valid I.D.)
• Limited-edition HOMAGE John Exline '64 Fieldhouse t-shirt (if registered before April 1 - after this date, a limited quantity of t-shirts will be available at the event and on a first-come, first-served basis)

Share Your Memories and Well Wishes with John Exline

There are two ways you can share memories of John:

1. Boombox - submit a written note or photo by April 6 and a 5x7 card will be included in the gift box (deadline is April 6)
2. Drop an Ex-Line Video - submit a video (one minute or less) that will be included in a compilation (deadline is April 24)

Sharing one or both of these items is open to anyone!
