We are excited to announce that international speaker and psychotherapist Lynn Lyons will join us via Zoom for a parent-only book club on Thursday, February 22 from from 6:30-7:30 p.m. We will be discussing the book, Anxious Kids, Anxious Parents, co-written by Lynn and Reid Wilson, Ph.D., and fielding questions about it with the author.

For those of you who may have missed Lynn's visit to campus in December, she gave a humorous and lively parent presentation about immediately accessible strategies that parents and guardians can use to support their children of all ages. As described by Lynn, her strategies can be taught to anyone looking to overcome anxiety and manage the challenges of daily life. The book that will be discussed in this session illustrates many of these concepts and provides "jargon-free, step-by-step plans to solve the puzzle of anxious, avoidant kids".

Don't have time to read the book? Please join us anyway! Register using the button at the top of this page and a link to the Zoom session will be emailed to you before the meeting date.

Reminder this is a virtual event not hosted on campus. Questions? Email Student Support Services Co-Directors Suzanne Ritter and Heather Levingston.
