Carla Sprankle

Carla Sprankle began serving as a lead teacher in the Explorers Program at Columbus Academy at the start of the 2026-27 school year. She will teach alongside fellow lead teacher Janny Cann and associate Jordance Yingling. She has spent the past 20 years teaching grades 1-3 at Hamilton Local Schools. Prior to that, she worked in a preschool setting with two- and three-year-olds. Carla holds a B.S. from Ohio State University and M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University.
