Biography

Camille Thiros began working as a kindergarten associate teacher at Columbus Academy in 2021 and is now a lead pre-kindergarten teacher as of the start of the 2023-24 school year. She came to Academy after having graduated with a B.S. in early childhood education and visual impairment education from The Ohio State University, where she also gained experience working with the school's childcare program as a teaching aide. A native of Valparaiso, Indiana, Camille moved to Columbus to attend OSU and is surrounded by a wonderfully supportive group of close friends she considers to be family.

"During my visual impairment education coursework, I learned and became fluent in Braille."

Favorite sports teams
"I am a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan! Of course, I also love my Ohio State Buckeyes."
