Biography

Betsy Claman began teaching mathematics in the Upper School at Columbus Academy starting in 2020. Prior to Academy, Betsy taught at Bishop Watterson High School and the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Chicago, Illinois. She has experience teaching Algebra, Algebra 2 and AP Calculus. She earned a M.Ed. at The Ohio State University as well as a B.S. in Mathematics and B.A. in German. Betsy also minored in music with an emphasis on viola performance. She currently plays with the Central Ohio Symphony in Delaware, Ohio. Betsy and her husband Daniel live in Clintonville and are thrilled to have their daughter Anna join the Academy Class of 2035. Betsy and her husband, Dan, live in Clintonville with their daughter Anna ‘35.
