Andrea Arner has served as the lower school assistant librarian at Columbus Academy since 2013. Prior to coming to Academy, Andrea taught middle school science and reading and language arts for 10 years at the Arts Impact Middle School (AIMS) in the Columbus City School District. She was named teacher of the year in 2009-10 and was published in the fall 2010 Journal of Teacher Initiated Research. She holds a B.A. in middle childhood education from Wittenberg University and a M.A. in reading and reading endorsement from Otterbein University. Andrea and her husband, Phil, have two boys, Caleb and Nathan.
