Andrea Alvarado joined Columbus Academy's Lower School as a third grade associate teacher during the 2024-25 school year. She came to Academy after having worked as a Literacy Support Specialist at Olentangy Liberty Middle School, and as an etiquette coach, substitute teacher, and Drama/Theater Teaching Assistant with Columbus City Schools. Andrea also works in Circulation Services at Old Worthington Library and previously worked at Upper Arlington Public Library as Executive Assistant to the Director. She holds a B.F.A. in Cinematic Arts and Film & Video from the Columbus College of Art and Design. Andrea married her college sweetheart, Hector, in late summer 2025.
