Prior to serving as a fifth grade teacher for the start of the 2020-21 school year, Alyssa Thiele has worked as a learning styles specialist in the Lower School at Columbus Academy since 2013. In addition, Alyssa is an assistant middle school field hockey coach. Prior to arriving at CA, Alyssa taught for one year at Eastland Performance Academy as a grades 3-5 intervention specialist. Alyssa graduated cum laude as both an undergraduate at Wittenberg University and a graduate at Otterbein University, and was also elected to Kappa Delta Pi, an educational honors society, during her master’s program. Alyssa has a fur baby terrier mix named Lucy.
