Adam McHugh Takes Over Ice Hockey Program

Director of Athletics Jason Singleton recently announced that Adam McHugh is the new varsity head coach for Columbus Academy’s ice hockey program, which had been guided by Corey Taber since being founded as a JV squad in 2017.

Columbus Academy upper-schoolers performed "The Dining Room" by A.R. Gurney on October 29-30.

"Bravo! Brava! Bravi!" wrote Performing Art Department Chair Jessica Sneeringer after the opening show of this fall play. "Congratulations to the cast and crew (and Mr. Dillon) for tonight’s performance of The Dining Room! You all were FABULOUS!!! Thanks for an enjoyable evening! Historic Performance by Jazz Ensemble

For the first time since it was founded in 1999, the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival featured Columbus Academy musicians on September 19.

Our 26-member Jazz Ensemble, consisting of students in grades 8-12, performed the opening set on the event's final day in front of an enthusiastic and appreciative crowd.
