The Charlie David Dinner is the largest community event of the year for Columbus Academy families! Enjoy dinner from your choice of food trucks, games for kids, and fun for the whole family before heading down to Hondros Field to cheer on our varsity football team as they take on archrival Bexley. Proceeds support Columbus Academy's athletic programs.

Pre-Sale Meal Tickets are on sale now through Thursday, September 24th at noon. Keeping affordability in mind, meal tickets are priced to cover the cost of your dinner choice from a variety of food trucks & refreshments.

- Child Meal Tickets $10/each (up to 5th grade)

What is the Charlie David Dinner?
This annual event is named for a dedicated parent volunteer who first organized a pregame dinner back in 1982 for Academy families to help support athletics. This event is open to all families and friends of Academy!
What does the Charlie David Dinner support?
Proceeds are used for sport-specific needs (equipment, jerseys, transportation), as well as student fitness and training programs. Because contributions to this booster event are restricted gifts that augment the school’s operating budget for athletics, donations to Charlie David Dinner are not considered Annual Fund gifts.

Please note: Due to a variety of factors, we cannot guarantee all menu items will be available at our event as pre-set menus will be decided by and are at the sole discretion of each food truck. Drinks (soda and water) are also included in your ticket price!

Unable to attend? You can still support our student-athletes! Be a sponsor, donate to your favorite athletic program, purchase raffle tickets or buy a meal ticket that will be donated to a coach or faculty/staff member.
Back again this year – The Athletics Raffle!
Tickets will be available for purchase and designation in-person in the fireside of our dining hall. Don't miss out on your chance to snag the most sought-after prize of all: a coveted parking space for the entire school year! Tired of circling endlessly or settling for inconvenient parking spots? Enter to win a prime spot in the Lower School/Athletics parking lot, Middle School/Academy Hall parking lot or Upper School parking lot. You may enter to win whichever parking spot(s) you prefer, as many times as you would like! Winning parents/guardians may gift their secured spot to their student with a valid Ohio Drivers License.
Note: winning parking spots are limited to one per household, per year.

Volunteers help make this event an even bigger success as they help to ensure a friendly welcome and easy check-in process and the event space is festive and kept clean. It's fun to volunteer in pairs, so consider having a spouse or Academy parent friend join you. We have a job for everyone! Well, almost everyone; we want the kids to have fun, and there are activities for all ages, so please NO student volunteers.
