Jeff Hunt began serving as the campus safety and security coordinator at Columbus Academy in September 2025. He came to Academy after having retired from the City of Fairfax Police Department in Northern Virginia where he served as Criminal Investigations Division Commander, SWAT Commander, Community Services Division Commander and Accreditation Commander over the course of 25 years. Prior to this work, Jeff served in the U.S. Air Force for six years. He holds a M.S. in Criminal Justice from Liberty University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. Jeff and his wife Christina have two adult children.
