UPDATE: After a successful opening night on April 28, the remaining two shows of "MAMMA MIA!" have been postponed due to illness. Ticket orders will be held for our new dates, which will be announced soon and will not conflict with any other school events. Thank you for supporting the Columbus Academy theatre program!

**************************************************

MAMMA MIA! will be performed by Columbus Academy Student Theatre on April 28, 29 and 30 with each show starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Schoedinger Theatre.

Early reservations can be made by printing and completing this order form and turning it in with payment to David Block by Wednesday, April 27 (sealed envelopes can be dropped off at the Academy Hall reception desk during school hours). Academy students, faculty and staff get in for free while general public tickets are only $7 each with a limited number of seats available for purchase at the door.

There will be a special Senior Night and Theatre Letter Ceremony after the Saturday performance.

“The students are putting so much heart into their work,” stated director/choreographer Whitney Eads. “I can’t wait for the audience to join us in this jukebox hit musical that might have you singing and dancing along!”

MAMMA MIA! is just over two hours long with one intermission. Hit songs from ABBA are woven into a story about a mother (Donna) and daughter (Sophie) navigating their relationship around Sophie’s wedding and Donna’s past. The production is suitable for middle school age and above. Younger students who wish to attend should have parental guidance.

Poster designed by ninth-grader Sophie Platt. MAMMA MIA! is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI (www.mtishows.com). Questions about the production can be sent to Whitney at eadsw@columbusacademy.org.
