Neal O’Brien will take over as assistant director of athletics at the start of the 2021-22 school year, having worked at Columbus Academy since 2013 and taught on campus since 2015. He will also continue as a middle school physical education teacher and serve as coach of eighth grade boys basketball and middle school boys lacrosse, as well as an assistant coach for the middle school football team. Neal arrived on campus as a coach in the middle school before teaching fifth grade social studies for two years. He has a B.A. in history from Otterbein University and a M.A. in military history from American Military University.
