Biography

Matt McCue began teaching mathematics at Columbus Academy in 2017 and began his current role in the middle school at the start of the 2020-21 school year. He is also involved with community service activities on campus, accompanying students delivering and serving food to residents at Faith Mission and the student protection committee. Matt previously worked at University School in Shaker Heights, Ohio, where he earned the Seelbach Faculty Fellowship for outstanding teaching and exceptional contributions to the school community. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. Matt and his wife Terry, who is the Senior Associate Dean of Admissions at Kenyon College, have a daughter, Isabelle, who works in admissions at the University of Chicago.
