Lisa Spolter came to Columbus Academy in 1993 and currently teaches first grade and is a team leader. She is also involved with the lower school responsive classroom team. Lisa originally joined Academy as a PreK teacher and has also served as lower school’s early childhood coordinator, on the division’s admissions committee, and with Summer Experience on campus. She previously worked as a chapter consultant with the Kappa Kappa Gamma women’s fraternity and supported the Delto Rho chapter at the University of Mississippi. She holds a B.S. in early childhood education from Bowling Green State University and a M.S. in education from the University of Dayton. Lisa and her husband, Lorn, have two daughters, Sophie ’22 and Abby ’25.
