Amy Brooks began teaching at Columbus Academy in 2005 as our middle and upper school choir director, and in 2020 adds the role of school counseling intern. She has also served as an upper and middle school advisor and a music director for the upper school musical. Before arriving at Academy, Amy worked as a choir director at Highland Local Schools. She holds a B.M.Ed. from Bowling Green State University and is currently pursuing her M.S. in school counseling from the University of Dayton. Amy and her husband, Chris, have two children, Hannah and Noah ’28, and their family has a dog Carter and a cat Cappuccino.
