Biography

Peggy Sutton began teaching at Columbus Academy in 2003 and has served in the middle school language arts department since 2004. During that time, she also coached middle school track and field for 10 years and assisted the varsity swim and dive team for two seasons. Prior to joining Academy, Peggy taught at The Wellington School in Columbus, and at The Potomac School in Virginia. She holds a B.A. in English from Williams College and an M.A.T. from Otterbein University. Peggy and her husband, Jeff, a former teacher and coach at Academy, have three children, Nathaniel ’10, John ’11, and Margaret ’14.

I love the sense of community created by teachers, parents, and students who care – about each other, about learning, and about others beyond CA.

I have climbed the 48 4000-foot mountains in New Hampshire, many with my family.”
