Columbus Academy is served by three libraries: the Reinberger Lower School Library, located in the McCoy Learning Center, serves students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade 5; the Reinberger Middle School Library, located in Van Syckel Hall, serves grades 6-8; and the Reinberger Upper School Library, located in Academy Hall, enriches the 9-12 curriculum.
The Reinberger Libraries support the mission of Columbus Academy to develop the complete person and to uphold the school’s tradition of academic excellence. To that end, the Reinberger Libraries provide extensive and varied resources to inspire lifelong reading, learning, and creativity. The Reinberger Libraries strive to ensure members of the community are effective users of ideas, information, resources, and technology.
Librarians coordinate with faculty, staff and students to provide reading guidance, research and library skills instruction, and curriculum support. The libraries are central gathering places for students and provide spaces conducive to research, reading, and studying.
