What follows are descriptions and links to videos released so far in the series, which is a joint effort between the school’s technology and communications departments.

Academy’s TeacherTalk series is an extension of the school’s "Vision 2015" project, the goals of which were to reflectively engage students 24/7, extend learning outside the four walls of the classroom, and teach students to better use tools already available.

Each year, Vision 2015 provided grants to approximately a half-dozen teachers to explore and further their knowledge in the aforementioned areas. The teachers featured in the TeacherTalk videos were early recipients of those grants.

The origin of the grants was a 2007 gift of $1 million from Milt Taylor ’45, who held a long and varied connection to Columbus Academy prior to his passing on January 30, 2012. The grants were drawn from the Milt Taylor ’45 Fund to Reward & Promote Excellence in Teaching.
