Biography

Lloyd Cicetti has taught art in the Lower School at Columbus Academy since 1991. He previously served as the W. Boulton Dixon Master Chair in Art and Art Appreciation. Outside of his main role at Academy, Lloyd works on the report card committee and also leads the Masterworks program, which features composite works of art created by every lower school classroom. Prior to Academy, Lloyd taught art in Westville, New Jersey, followed by 12 years in Saudi Arabia with the Aramco Schools. Lloyd and his wife Barbara, who began the Learning Styles Program in the Lower School, have three sons: Michael ’01, David ’03 and Robert ’07.

Our serene campus, complete with waterfall outside my room. Both keep me at peace each day as I drive along Viking way.

Little-known fact
“I hiked 1,500 miles on the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Vermont. I also lived in Saudi Arabia for 12 years.”
