Lloyd Cicetti has been at Columbus Academy since 1990 as the lower school art teacher for the 3YO Explorers Program through fourth grade, while also serving as the Dixon Chair in Art. Outside of his main role at Academy, Lloyd works on the report card committee and also leads the Masterworks program, which features composite works of art created by every Lower School classroom. This year, each of the 26 Masterworks will be donated as a service to our community. Prior to CA, Lloyd taught art in Westville, N.J. followed by 12 years in Saudi Arabia with the Aramco Schools. Lloyd and his wife Barbara, who began the Learning Styles Program in the Lower School, have three sons, Michael ’01, David ’03, and Robert ’07.
Lloyd’s favorite thing about Columbus Academy
“Our serene campus, complete with waterfall outside my room. Both keep me at peace each day, as I drive along Viking way.
“I hiked 1,500 miles on the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Vermont. I also lived in Saudi Arabia for 12 years.”
