Leah McInturf is a lead teacher in our Explorers Program at Columbus Academy and has been working with our three-year-old program since the 2019-20 school year. She also serves as a lead teacher with our after-school program C.A.S.E. Leah graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she secured cum laude honors with a B.S. in early childhood education and became a certified early childhood environmental educator. During her time at Miami, Leah worked at The McGuffey Montessori School and, for the past two summers, at the Columbus Zoo’s conservation park, The Wilds, educating guests about the various endangered animals found there. Outside of work, Leah enjoys walks with her Pekingese, Drogo, hikes, being with family and friends, as well as adventures such as skydiving.
