Krystal Mitchell came to Columbus Academy in 2014 and currently serves as a lower school reading specialist. She originally began working on campus in our kindergarten program after four combined years of teaching between time spent with kindergarten at Cornerstone Academy and PreK at Primrose School. She earned a B.A. in human development and family sciences and education from The Ohio State University, as well as a M.Ed. from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and she's working towards a M.A. in reading from Otterbein University. Outside of work, Krystal enjoys being outdoors with her family. Krystal is married to her high school sweetheart and they reside in New Albany with their three boys.
