David Wong became the orchestra director for grades 2-12 at Columbus Academy in 2018. He previously was a self-employed private violin teacher for 17 years and served as an orchestra teaching assistant at Amherst College. David earned a B.A. in music and Asian studies from Amherst College, and has his Suzuki violin pedagogy certification from the School for Strings. David and his wife, Stephanie Price-Wong, have a son, Felix, and the family has a dog named Bridget.
