Angi Blinn has worked in the lower school at Columbus Academy since 2017 and is currently a lead kindergarten teacher. She has several years of experience working with lower-school aged children, having most recently served as assistant teacher for primary (ages 3-6) at the Indiana Montessori Community School prior to joining the Academy community. Angi also was a development therapist/specialist, a K-6th grade ED teacher, and taught first grade during her time in Indiana. In 2007, Angi was nominated and then named a finalist for Maplewood Elementary Teacher of the Year. She graduated cum laude with a B.S. in early childhood education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, earned a reading endorsement and is pursuing a master’s degree in reading instruction/literacy coaching from Bowling Green State University. Angi resides in Gahanna with her husband Bart, son Andrew, and their dog Murphy.
