Columbus Academy Student Theatre is staging “Something Rotten” on April 27-29. All three performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the school’s Schoedinger Theatre.

The Columbus Academy Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble started spring break by spending four days in Orlando. The trip was highlighted by a jazz performance on the CityWalk Lagoon Stage at Universal Studios and a Disney Imagination Campus Workshop for the entire band.

“Little Women” will be staged by Columbus Academy upper-schoolers on November 4-5. Both the Friday and Saturday night shows will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the school's Schoedinger Theatre. There is no advanced or reserved seating. Admission will be handled at the door and is $5 per person but free for all Academy students and faculty/staff.

UPDATE: After a successful opening night on April 28, the remaining two shows of "MAMMA MIA!" have been postponed due to illness. “My favorite memories of all are of standing in the theatre lobby after a show and seeing the pride and joy on the faces of the cast and crew as they greeted their friends and families.” That was a quote from the late Susan Neal, so it is fitting that the area outside our Schoedinger Theatre is now named in her honor.
