Biography

Donna Saide has taught in the lower school at Columbus Academy since 2004 and began teaching fifth grade at the start of the 2023-24 school year. She most recently taught third grade from 2015-23. She also serves as the lower school math curriculum coordinator and assists with the after school homework club.  She has taught grades K-3 at Academy and has previously served as a lower school diversity community coordinator. Prior to joining Academy, Donna taught kindergarten, first grade and fourth grade for a combined 10 years at Bow Elementary School in New Hampshire. She is a graduate of Notre Dame College where she earned a B.A. in elementary education and a M.Ed. in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in elementary reading.

"I love that we are a 3-year-old-12th grade campus. I’m so fortunate to teach in the Lower School and watch students grow up through the Middle and Upper School! I adore seeing and talking with former students every day on our magnificent campus."
