LET'S GO ALL IN, #ALLDAY4CA

The excitement is building for this year's All Day 4 CA on April 10-11. In celebration of Academy's 107th school year, the first $107,000 will be matched dollar for dollar! Eight alumni and current school families contributed generously to this matching pool to inspire all of us to be all in. Additional grade-specific matches will be available for Grades 1 and 8, and others are in the works! Find your source of Viking pride at All Day 4 CA and get ready to share with grandparents, friends and family why you are all in #AllDay4CA.

You will receive an email with the link to the special 25-hour giving day donation site on April 10 at 10:00 a.m.

Don't forget your "all in" spirit wear on Tuesday, April 10! To help you gear up before the big day, the Viking Corner will be open an extra day this week. You can shop for spirit wear and accessories during these special hours: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday (April 4) and 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday (April 6).

SERVICE LEARNING

Just before Spring Break, our middle school boys tennis team prepared a thousand food bags and placed them at the front doors of homes in five neighborhoods near campus. They then collected those donations and delivered them to GRIN (Gahanna Residents In Need), which helps provide food, children's clothing, rent and utility assistance, school supplies, weekend help for children, holiday gifts and meals, and summer lunches for Gahanna students.
SPORTS REPORT

Our varsity baseball team opened its season by going 2-1 against teams from Pennsylvania at the Ripken Experience Tournament last weekend in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After falling 13-10 to Valley High School (New Kensington) in the opener, the Vikes bounced back to beat previously undefeated Deer Lakes (Russellton) 9-3 followed by a 10-0 win over Friends Select School (Philadelphia) on a three-hit shutout by senior pitcher Matt Saling. They start league play on the road today at London and then host the Red Raiders in their home-opener at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Before then, our JV baseball squad hosts London at 5:15 p.m. today on Stahl Field and our girls lacrosse teams host Olentangy Liberty on Tuesday (JV at 5:30 p.m., varsity at 7:00 p.m.) on Hondros Field.
