Columbus Academy hosted the Andy Bowman Memorial Baseball Game on April 27 to to honor the 2016 graduate who passed away in February of 2023. Joining his family – father Jim Bowman ’84, mother Tracey Bowman and older sister Lindsay Bowman ’14 – at the event were 22 of Andy’s classmates from Academy’s class of 2016 and 49 alumni in total in addition to many friends of the family, including some of his former teachers. Our boys tennis program started a new tradition on April 18 by hosting Bexley for the inaugural Jack Madison Cup, named in memory of a 2021 Columbus Academy graduate from Bexley who passed away in January of 2023. Jack helped our Vikings place third in the OTCA state tournament as a senior and was a true leader on the court, earning four varsity letter and serving as a co-captain with his cousin and classmate Arie Tuckerman.
