
Admissions Overview
Columbus Academy is a co-educational, college preparatory day school with 1,072 students offering grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12.
The Director of Admissions is John Wuorinen '80 and the Assistant Director of Admissions is Debbie Keeran.
Because first-round admissions decisions are announced on March 1, parents are encouraged to begin the admissions process in the fall. An ideal timetable would be as follows:
- Tour the school in September, October or November.
- Attend the December Open House.
- Submit application before the December holidays.
- Submit appropriate transcripts/teacher recommendation by the first week in January.
- Sign up applicant for screening/testing beginning in December (testing dates).
- Receive first-round admission decisions on March 1.
